Key points
- "'Be perfect' — only God is perfect" (Matthew 5:48). Holiness is a declaration, not behaviour — "God never sinned, yet He's holy; holiness isn't about sins" (1 Peter 1:16). "Good character is not righteousness — Jesus is" (Isaiah 64:6).
- "Don't be an actor — be real with God." "Weaknesses are reminders of our need for Him." "Your faults don't put you on a waiting list — God trains us as He goes" (Ecclesiastes 3:11). "Nobody sits in God's council to decide when you should serve."
