Summary
In one line: Not every trial is sin or the devil — some are God's test, and you can't be promoted without passing it.
Key points
- Job's friends said "you sinned"; Job knew it wasn't so — in all this he sinned not (Job 1:22) because he blamed no one and saw it as a test.
- God won't test you beyond capacity and makes a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13).
- "The modern church thinks everything is the devil — most of your problem is God Himself testing you." You promote someone who did what you said, not who merely listened.

Some of you have questioned if you are truly walking with God because you need deliverance.
When Jonah was going through his testing, his friends came to him and they told him, "You have sinned against God. That is why you're going through what you're going through.
Job, sorry. Everyone went against Job.
His friends looked at him and said, "No, man. You sinned. You're going through what you're going through because you sinned."
And Job knew he had done nothing against God because there was no more condemnation for him because he had secured his salvation in God. Yes.
That is why the Bible says in everything that happened, he never sinned. He didn't say he was a sinless man. He said when he was being tested, he never sinned because he never blamed anyone. He understood it was a test.
Amen.
Is this making sense?
Amen.
His friends believed he went through what he went through as a consequence of what? Sin. But it wasn't about sin.
So you may be going through something right now. It is not sin. It's not always sin.
Some is testing.
And if it is a test, he has already made a way out.
He will never allow you to be tested beyond your capacity.
Amen. He will fortify you and he will create an escape for you.
The problem with the modern church is everything is the devil.
I will tell you what the devil is and I will tell you what is not the devil.
In fact, most of your problem that you think is the devil is not the devil. It's God himself.
Because God is testing.
Whenever God ministers to you, he speaks to you, he will test you. He will always do that because if you pass the test, then you can be promoted. You don't promote somebody because they listened. You promote somebody because they did everything that you told them
when they were tested and now they can graduate.
Amen.
If we do that in the physical, why don't we expect that to happen in the spirit?
applause
Because if God promotes you without you being tested,
then he's setting you up for failure.
