I want to discuss and talk about secrets.

Amen.

Um I want to talk about secrets.

I want to talk about secrets. And um there's a difference between a mystery and a secret.

There is a huge difference between a mystery and a secret.

When something is a mystery, it is not necessarily a secret. It is just difficult to understand how God made it to come or or how God made it to be. Like an example, salvation is a mystery. The cross is a mystery. God becoming man is a mystery. Mary being pregnant without the help of a husband is a mystery or should I say the help of a man. Those are mysteries, they are not secrets.

Those are mysteries, but they are not secrets. But God consistently God consistently in scripture, he speaks profundly. Listen, aggressively and profoundly concerning secrets.

In fact, I came to discover it is one thing to think you're intimate with God, but it's another thing for God to actually be intimate with you.

Yes.

Where there is intimacy, there is secrets.

Yes.

And not just secrets that one is keeping something from the other, but the secret actually is that there will be things that will be shared between the two of you that the world will not know because of the proximity.

Yeah.

Because of the closeness that has just been achieved by two people coming together.

Being close to God or or or being intimate with God is not about his presence because you can have his presence and he doesn't tell you nothing.

Wow.

So, what Why does God have secrets?

Is it because God is hiding something or God has kept the best for a certain breed of people?

Mhm.

If you go to Deuteronomy, um uh what is it, Charles? Deuteronomy

29:29

Uh-huh. Deuteronomy 29:29. Listen to this.

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God,

Uh-huh.

but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of his law.

One more time.

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God,

Mhm.

but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever.

Now, stop right there. God is saying there are things that belong to him. Whatever is a secret belongs to him.

Yes.

But what he has revealed is for our children, for us and our children that we may observe his law, that we may live for him.

I I'm trying to find the best way to put this so that somebody can really grasp what God is saying here. When God begins to share secrets with you,

Mhm.

you are no longer a man that belongs to the world. You're a man that belongs to him.

Yeah.

Because what is revealing becomes an inheritance for your people to belong to him.

And I'm sharing this because I will tell you myself some of the things that uh God had to reveal to me. Uh and God shared with me some secrets that completely altered like my my life completely. That the person I used to be, the person I was, the trajectory of my life completely shifted because of what God began to do in me.

When you look at men like Enoch,

Yeah.

Enoch was not just a man of mysteries. Enoch was a man of secrets.

God was sharing so many secrets with this man that this man escaped death.

Literally escaped death.

Death was no longer Hear me out. Death was no longer something that can uh uh touch him. Because there is something he received from God that made him escape death. The same thing with with with Elijah. These are men that avoided death. They escaped death.

Why? They knew something that we don't know.

Having eternal life doesn't say you won't see the grave.

Mhm.

It just means the grave won't hold you. Your soul and your spirit will make it to heaven, but is that's not uh that that doesn't mean you have received the codes to escape death just in general that death no longer applies to you. To us who are born again in Christ, death has no sting. Meaning death does not hurt us anymore.

But to other men like the two men that I mentioned, they completely escaped it. It did not even touch them.

So, God has secrets. How do I know I am drawing close to God? God begins to reveal secrets. And those secrets have nothing to do with human beings.

Mhm.

They have They have everything to do with him. Because what God is sharing with you, he's not sharing things that have to do with people. That's not a secret. That person already knows. When Jesus was born, it wasn't a secret.

The magicians knew that Jesus was born.

So, a secret to God is when God begins to share himself with you.

You start to touch dimensions and realms of God within God that are extraordinary. They are not the most ordinary things. You begin to know God in ways that other people would never know.

Secrets is what uh uh Secrets are what uh uh create a distinction within the kingdom of God. We are all children of God. We all love God. But what begins to really separate is secrets. Whoever starts possessing secrets, intimate things from God, immediately becomes changed. Instantaneously is transformed. I'll say it one more time. Instantaneously is what?

Transformed.

Instantly there is a transformation.

So, I want you to check this out. I want you to check this out.

When you go to the book of Amos chapter 3

Mhm.

Amos chapter 3 and verse 7. This is the same thing with Deuteronomy but I want you to read Amos chapter 3 verse 7.

Surely the Lord God will do nothing but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

One more time.

Surely the Lord God will do nothing but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

The word secret there is the word S O D.

S O D but it's pronounced sodi.

And sodi just means counsel. God will do nothing unless he has counsel.

Unless he has counsel.

Unless he has counsel with his prophets.

The number one thing that becomes apparent immediately is when God Almighty can bring you into his counsel.

The Bible is saying God will do nothing until he consults with you.

The Lord will do nothing until he shares his secret with the servant or with his servant, the prophet.

So, the sign that you have become intimate with God is God comes to you like he came to Abraham. Abraham, these guys at Sodom and Gomorrah have really sinned. Their sins have arrived to me in heaven, and I have come down to see what these guys are doing.

I have come to check it out myself.

I have come to see it myself.

When you have counsel with God, not asking God, there's a difference between me praying and asking God, "Oh Lord, what should I do? What should I do? What should I do?" That is called prayer. But when God comes to you, it's called a secret.

When God sits you down and says, "My son, my daughter, this is what I'm about to do in the world. I'm about to do this, I'm about to do this, and I'm about to do this, and I'm about to do this. And as I am going to do these things, what do you think?" That's strange. But that's because God is no longer doing anything without you becoming part of it.

Are you part of God's plans or do you pray to be in God's plans?

The graduation and the growth that God is looking for is for us to be those who are asking God to be in his plans. Then we grow to be people that God does nothing unless he consults with us because we are an integral part of his counsel.

Mhm. That's good.

God tells Moses, Moses, come let us reason together. When God begins to reason with you, you have entered the most intimate place with God, the place of secrets. And secrets begin with counsel.

Some of the most profound encounters I have had with God that were completely life-changing, that were completely life-shifting, that took me from one dimension to a completely different dimension, that took me so high than where I'd ever been was when God began to come to me without me praying.

I'll be doing something completely random. I may be sleeping. I may be watching a movie. I may be eating. And the voice of God will come into my ear. Or visions of God will take me. And God will show me things that I didn't even ask about. Immediately, God pushes me into the depth of what is about to come. And he puts me in a place to either pray to be averted or pray for it to come to pass or to be in the know to see what I think within it, which always blows my mind because it's like uh uh Lord, why do you care about me who is dust?

Why do you care about my opinion?

Hear me by the spirit of God.

Secrets begins with counsel.

Prayer is not sitting down with God. Prayer is requesting from God. But God wants us to get to a place whereby he can approach us with his mind, with his will, with his decisions, and we become part of what God is going to do. Even though God doesn't need us, he makes us part of of of that inheritance.

So, there are people who are prophetic and there are people who are prophets that have no counsel with God.

They are Christians who have no counsel with God. We are just benefactors either of prayer or somebody else's aspect or walk with God. That is kind of the realm that we float in. But a genuine walk whereby God comes and shares his mysteries with us is completely completely rare.

It is rare.

I'll say it again, it is rare.

But there is an elevation that God is bringing to everybody that is watching.

Amen.

Begin to desire

Mhm.

the place of secrets because God will give you your heart's desire. Become that person. Become that woman. Become that man that says, "Lord, I don't want to just be regular. I don't want to be somebody that is just floating around." When God begins to reveal his counsel, meaning you sit down with him, God begins to also reveal his plans and intentions.

Mhm.

As a child of God, you cannot live not knowing God's plans and his intention.

I remember when Jamaica was hit by a crazy uh hurricane. It flooded and so many people um suffered.

And some fools came online saying, "Ah, God is punishing Jamaica because of all their witchcraft." Now, you want to tell me that that flood hit that island and everyone suffered, the just and the unjust.

Because God was angry.

"You people need to repent." What about people who don't know Jesus?

Mhm.

Because people who are usually doing wrong mostly are those who don't even know the Lord. So, how can God punish them for what they don't know?

That's true.

So, they assume if a calamity happens, it's God's judgment. But you don't even know God's intentions. When God is saying that his wrath has been quenched. He's waiting for a time that he will judge all mankind. Whatever mankind suffers, it is the fruits of what- whatever they sowed.

And whatever calamity comes in the world, it's coming because of a sin condition that has destroyed this planet. It has nothing to do with God's anger.

God says, "I will no longer flood the earth or destroy animals or cattle." But, you're seeing a whole country flooded. You're saying it's God. God is saying, "I will never do that."

Yeah.

In fact, I put a rainbow to be a reminder of my covenant.

When we don't know God's plans, we do not know God's intention.

Anyone who does not know God's plans, that individual also does not know God's intentions. I want you to put it in the comments. I want to know God's plans.

I want to know God's plans.

God's plan is God's strategy for a particular outcome.

The reason why we despair, the reason why we are confused, the reason why we battle within ourselves, the reason why there is confusion within us, it's because we don't know God's plans.

We have no idea about what God is doing. We can say all we want that God, we trust you, and we should trust God. God is worthy of trust. He should be trusted. But, God doesn't just want you to be in a place of trusting. He wants you to be in the place of knowing.

Amen.

God wants you to know. He doesn't want you not to know.

That would not make sense to God.

Him not wanting you to know, he just wants you to live in the dark. That's That's actually crazy. I don't know if you see what I'm saying, Charles. That's completely completely crazy.

That is completely crazy because God is not in need of you trusting him. He's in need of you knowing him.

Yeah.

There are people in church right now who are fighting witchcraft. That is not even witchcraft. They just don't understand what God is doing.

It's true.

There are people who think they're under curse right now. They They believe they're under curse because they don't know what God is what? Doing.

They have no idea what God is up to.

There are people right now in this hour, in this moment that are in complete despair thinking that God has abandoned them. Yet God is hiding them, but because they don't know God's plan

Yeah.

they also don't know God's intention.

That's good.

So when you don't know God's plan, you live in confusion.

Yeah.

When you don't know God's intention, the devil will whisper in your ears and you will misunderstand God.

It's true.

I want you to type Lord, reveal your intentions.

Lord, reveal your intentions.

Lord, reveal your intentions.

God's intentions to be revealed.

If God's intentions are not revealed if God's intentions are not revealed who would know what God is up to?

When God breaks us in order to rebuild us if you don't know, you'll think God is attacking you.

I remember a a a certain woman she came for me to pray for her.

And when she stood before me and I was about to pray for her she started saying before I even prayed, "Pastor I have no demon in me. I just want you to know I I I I've been suffering with with seizures. They just started out of nowhere. I've been convulsing. And I've also been having all these weird skin issues. But I prayed and God said I'm doing that to test your faith."

I looked at the woman and said, "Woman of God how is God testing your faith by you being unconscious? How is God testing your faith by your body breaking up with this weird skin condition that doesn't even make sense? How is God testing you?"

She said, "You know, he's been testing me, even sending me out to give people words and when the words are not accurate he tells me I was just seeing if you would do what I would tell you." I said, "Woman of God you need deliverance."

There's another woman that came up with a sign. She said, "There's just a lot of, you know, God told me to move to a certain city and I went to that city and I was working and nothing is working out. But I'm saying God, you sent me to come to to come to this place. Everything I'm doing is just failing.

But God told me to close my business and to do this." And I look at looked at the woman and I spoke in the spirit. Immediately the evil spirit that was whispering in her they started complaining saying, "I I was lying to her making her believe it was God but it was me all along. I destroyed this. I destroyed this. I I that.

What I'm trying to express to you, people of God, in simplicity and honesty, is you're vulnerable if you're not in God's counsel.

That's true. Very true.

You are already in trouble when you're not in God's counsel.

You are in major trouble when you are not in God's counsel. Huge trouble.

Look at all these people that love God, and these are not people that don't love God. These are people that love God.

And they completely missed God because they are not in his counsel.

Mhm.

They're trying to interpret from what they are seeing, but they don't know his heart.

Yeah.

And if I don't know God's heart, how can I achieve what God has ordained for me?

So many are outside of God's plans and intentions. The sisters of Lazarus saw Lazarus coming.

Mhm.

Or they saw Jesus coming. And they cried. They said, "Lord, if you are here, if you are here, our brother would have never died."

But they thought that because they didn't know his intention. Jesus purposely let Lazarus die.

But they thought Jesus was late, so their brother died. But they did not know that God's plan was to show his what? Glory. His servants sat with him, his disciples sat with him. He said, "We must go and wake Lazarus up because he's asleep."

He said, "Lord, if he's asleep, he'll wake up." Then Jesus told them plainly, "He's dead and I have to raise him up." Notice they were in his council, so they knew plans.

Mhm.

And his intentions that Lazarus' family should have known.

Yeah.

Because they knew him.

Yeah.

But because they were not in his council, the people whose glory was going to be begotten out of had no idea what God was out was that they had no idea what God was up to.

Sure.

That's how it usually looks. God can reveal to me the intentions he has for your life.

Yeah.

But it's better if you know the intentions of God for your life.

Yeah.

So, what does it benefit the disciples to know that Lazarus has died and Lazarus is going to be raised and Jesus will be proven that he's the Messiah?

Mhm.

Lazarus raising up is the is is not their family member.

Yeah.

But the family that God was going to perform one of the greatest miracles while he walked on the earth had no idea. Had no clue. Had no understanding.

Had no comprehension.

Of what God was going to do. So, Jesus comes, they begin to complain. "Lord, if you were here, our brother would have not died." Then Jesus says, "Don't you know that I am the resurrection and the life?" They're like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know. On the last day he will be raised."

Mhm.

You listen, Jesus is there, they're misinterpreting. Jesus said, "Because they don't know his plans. They don't know his intention for letting their brother die." There are some of you right now watching me. You don't know why your business died. You don't know why your marriage died. You don't know why things went uh apart in your life. You don't understand all these things that are happening and you are assuming and God doesn't want you to assume. God wants you to know why and what he's up to.

Yeah.

We know what the tribulation period will look like. Why? Cuz God doesn't want us to be in confusion. So, there are general things that God will share in his counsel for us and there are things that God wants to share with you because it has to do with your life.

Yeah.

Somebody type in the comments, "I want to know God's mind."

I want to know God's mind.

I can't hear you.

to know God's mind.

hear you.

to know God's mind.

We should desire.

Definitely.

We should desire.

We should desire to know God's mind.

Go to 1 Samuel chapter 16 and verse 7.

But the Lord said unto Samuel, "Look not on his countenance or on the height of his stature

Mhm.

because I have refused him. For the Lord seeth not as man seeth.

Mhm.

For man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart."

One more time.

But the Lord said unto Samuel, "Look not on his countenance or on the height of his stature because I have refused him. For the Lord seeth not as man seeth.

Mhm. For man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.

So, even God wants us not to look according to the flesh.

Amen.

When we look at things according to the flesh, we'll make the wrong decisions.

Amen.

We'll choose the wrong friends.

Amen.

We'll choose the wrong relationships.

Amen.

We'll choose the wrong people. We'll choose the wrong direction. Everything we do with our life will be wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.

Very true.

But when we sit in God's counsel,

Mhm.

we see the way the Lord sees.

Yes, he sees there are.

We don't look at situations.

Many of you think you're forsaken because you're looking at your situation, and your situation looks like you've been forsaken.

Amen.

But God is saying, "Don't look on the outward appearance. You need to look at what is happening inside."

And this is where the devil gets people. "Job, you see how bad your situation is?" In the midst of his pain, he was seeking God's mind.

Yeah.

He worshipped God, but he was not just sitting there. He wanted to know God's mind. How many of us in pain

Mhm. We don't seek his mind.

Many don't seek his mind. Many of us just say, "Father, protect me. Father, keep me. Father, you know what's going on." Father, of course he knows what's going on. But what is the intention of the revelation?

Mhm.

What is the intent of the revelation?

Because everything that is happening to us is coded in mysteries. And it's God's desire for us to unlock that mystery. And for us to know what exactly is happening. If we look at things according to the flesh, we will fall down. If we look at things according to the flesh, our strength will fail. If we look at things according to to humanity, everything about us will fall apart. It was never God's mind, never God's will, never God's intention for us to look and observe things after the flesh.

It is a mistake. God does not want us to be in the dark.

God does not want us to be in the dark. Be tired of being in the dark.

Amen.

Be tired of being in the dark. I'll say it one more time. Be tired of being in the dark.

I'm going to share one more scripture with you.

Isaiah chapter 41.

Verse 23.

Show the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods. Yea, do good or do evil, that we may be dismayed and behold it together.

Now, listen to that scripture.

God wants us to be in this council so we are not carried by anything that people will spin. When whether good or evil comes, we are prepared for it because we know his intention.

Amen.

The absence of his intention is man's destruction. I'm going to give you one last scripture that is one of my favorite, Psalms 25.

And verse 14.

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him, and he will show them his covenant.

One more time.

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him. He will show them his covenant.

God does not share secrets with people, which is his counsel. With people who have no reverence for him.

So, if I don't become somebody that acknowledges God, somebody that looks at God and see the greatness of God, the majesty of God, the goodness of God, the the mercy of God, the greatness of God, I cannot be a candidate. Listen to me. I cannot be a candidate. I will never be a candidate of his secrets.

The reverence for God. The utmost respect for God.

The utmost honor for God.

These are keys that push us to such a high dimension to walk in God's counsel.

I want you to understand that God wants to bring you to that place.

Amen.

Where his counsel is not hidden from you, his mind is not hidden from you, because he wants to profoundly elevate you.

Amen.

That the people around you will be saved.

Amen.

Don't be like Lot who is being saved without knowing God's intention.

Wow.

Abraham knows God's intention and what God is doing. And Lot who is in the midst of that situation doesn't even know. Yet, Mary will descend from Lot.

Deep.

He's carrying such a big promise, but he doesn't even know God's intention for his life.

That's deep.

Sometimes we are not careless, we just don't know, and because we don't know, we fall into the devil's trap. So, I pray for you in the name of Jesus that you will be shifted. I pray for you in the name of Jesus that you will be shifted. I pray for you in the name of Jesus you will be shifted to the realm of secrets.

Amen.

That you will walk deeper and with more intimacy with God like you have never before.

Amen.

I want you to grab what you want to give to God. Grab your best. Give it to God prayerfully. And when we return, I'm going to pray and God is going to bless us.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for everybody that is watching and those who are at home and those who are believing you to know your mind, your intention, and your heart. Father, I push them into the place of their calling. I push them into the place of their destiny in you that they may know you as you are, that they may move from glory to glory, that they may become all that you have called them and you have destined destined them to be.

Father, let it be so beginning this hour in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we thank you that this is accomplished and done. Amen.
