Because when God begins to favor you he will pour instruction in your heart and you have to do things that other people won't know. Because when the devil knows what God has communicated to you, he will seek to infiltrate it, destroy it, and distort it. So, privacy begins what? In the heart.

I am somebody who likes to share everything. I learned that was a mistake. I don't withhold anything back. Especially in the beginning of ministry, I just wanted to give everyone everything. Then I realized the more I matured I was like, "Nah, there is a process." If you join the Orthodox Church today and you want to be a priest, they will put you through it before you can know the depth of the faith.

You want to be a Catholic priest today, you will go through school, then you'll go through spiritual training, then they will send you where nobody wants to go. They will put you through the process to ensure. But the charismatic church, you get born again today, tomorrow you can hold the mic and start correcting people. You don't know anything. You can just have a mic on YouTube and begin to say, "You false teachers, who have you ever taught that changed?"

Because it is through the process that you discover yourself and it is through the process that you know God for yourself. And it is through the prophet the process. It is through the process that you also learn secrecy.

Secrecy is mandatory. It's not optional.

Read Matthew 6 beginning from giving.

Matthew 6:1. Mhm. Take heed that ye do not your alms before men to be seen of them. Otherwise, ye have no reward of your father which is in heaven. So, if we want a reward, and what does God reward us with? Favor. When you do something that is for him, God favors you in return. Amen. He proves that this person has been with me.

He proves that this person has been with me. You're not going to prove it, he will prove it. Amen.

Keep going. Therefore, when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets that they may that they may have glory of men. Verily, I say unto you, they have their reward. When you do things for people to see, that's all the reward you'll ever get. Amen.
You'll get men's applause. You do something for God to see, you get God's favor. Amen. Keep going. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know [clears throat] what thy right hand doeth.

God is telling you be secretive to the point that even your left hand doesn't know what your right hand is doing. That means that be so discreet that even those who are closest to you cannot tell what you're doing. Ah. This is so profound. This is the basis of spirituality.

That is why I always laugh at people who everyone is a witch, everybody is a sorcerer, every The guys who if they were in front of a witch, they would never even know.

Warlock, wizard, witch, this and that. If they were actually in front of the real thing, they wouldn't even know what to do. They won't even know if that person is or is not. They will not be able to tell.

Because those who really do it, the level of secrecy, the level of being discreet, you will never detect it if you don't have eyes of the spirit. Keep going. That thine alms may be in secret, and thy father which seeth in secret, himself shall reward thee openly.
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets that they may be seen of men. Verily, I say unto you, they have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy father which is in secret, and thy father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. So, you see, when we pray even publicly, we pray corporately not for people to hear how great we are in praying.

We pray because we are dealing with God from the depth of our from the secret place of our heart. But that prayer can only be mastered if you already are used to praying in secret. So, when you're before men, you don't even consider the men around you. You just speak to God the way you would speak to God not because you're trying to prove how anointed you are when you pray. It's a mistake.

You will never defeat a giant that you never defeated in private.

You will never defeat a public giant that you did not beat in secret.

I'll say that one more time. Many want to destroy giants in public, but they have never destroyed any giant in secret. You can only destroy a giant in public because you already dismantled many in secret where nobody saw.

And you know giant slayers because they don't have to advertise how many giants they have killed. Hallelujah. The world testifies of what they have already done. And when you see them slaying their first giant in your presence, it's not because it's the first giant they are slaying, but in public. You can tell by the experience and the composure that this is something they have already done before.

Come on. They have been with God. Amen.
