THE DREAM STATE

Summary
In one line: God speaks to you every night — not remembering dreams doesn't mean He didn't speak; and a dream often shows what is already wrapped around you.
Key points
- "If you've ever shut your eyes to sleep, the Lord has spoken to you" (Job 33:15-16). People who talk too much also dream a lot — but that's vanity, not God.
- "Attacked in your dreams" is only half true. He saw a snake wrapped around a woman while awake; she'd seen it in her dreams. "The dream is God telling you what's already wrapping you." The serpent had been devouring her children in pregnancy — she had none, and her husband wanted to leave. "Today we'll kill the snake."
- Dream visions — "visions of the night" — can be more profound than being awake.

The woman started shaking. She said, "Yes, I see it in my dream." I said, "No, the dream is God telling you what is already wrapping you. This snake has been eating all your children. Every time you get pregnant, the serpent has been devouring your kids. Right now, if you are even have one child, it's a miracle." The woman shouted, "It is true. I don't have any children. My husband wants to leave me."
I said, "Today we'll kill the snake." But notice, God showed her a dream. So, being in the dream visions of God, visions of the night, it is more profound than being awake. Okay, you see, okay, I'm doing too much. Let me
