you see the essence of being spiritual the Bible says God will do nothing unless he reveals it to his servant the prophet now the Bible says in the last day I'll pour out my spirit and your sons and daughters shall prophesy meaning anyone that is prophetic by Nature because the word Prophet also means a spokesperson of God it doesn't necessarily mean the office of a prophet at least in this context it means that we are supposed to be in constant revelation not only of what God is saying to us but of what is happening in the world Abraham did not live in Sodom and Gomorrah but when God was about to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah God visited Abraham pretending he wasn't going to Abraham it is Abraham's spirituality that forced him that forced God to come to him because God was going to pass by his house natural men miss their visitations from God because when God is coming to you he doesn't come to you he passes by you to see if you're spiritual enough to identify that God has come notice God was not just coming to Sodom and Gomorrah God was coming to deliver the promise he gave to Abraham but he pretended he was going somewhere else he didn't even tell him he was going to Sodom and Gomorrah he was walking by his house it was Abraham's spirituality that made him run to God and say my Lord come into my house so that tells you that prayer doesn't make you spiritual I'll prove it to you the Pharisees prayed but when Jesus came they didn't recognize him what makes you spiritual is not prayer Hindus pray Buddhists pray Buddha was looking for the meaning of life meditating Christians also pray but they will be the first one to come in and say I I don't believe in miracles ah so why we praying God only speaks Through the Bible God cannot speak to your spirit yet if it's the same yesterday today and forever it means he's still talking he didn't say my words are sealed only in Scripture he says I will lead you by my spirit he said his word is a lamp unto his feet and to your feet sorry and my feet so if God is the same yesterday and forever it means he should still be giving you instruction so if you are not receiving instructions something is off
