Summary
In one line: Don't be excited by the Spirit upon you without the Spirit within you — the inner capacity is what keeps the outer anointing on you.
Key insights
- "I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh" (Joel 2:28) — upon, not within.
- The armour of God isn't a declaration — "I put on the breastplate…" — it's information that fortifies you (Ephesians 6:13-17).
- The apostles received the Spirit within when Jesus breathed on them (John 20:22), not first at Pentecost; the Spirit upon depended on that inner capacity.
- Saul was a king destined to fail — given because Israel wanted a king like the nations; the Spirit came upon him (1 Samuel 10:6-13). David was converted within before Samuel came — "with My holy oil have I anointed him" (Psalm 89:20).
- Prophets from birth: Samson was filled in the womb (Judges 13:4-5); Jeremiah ordained before birth (Jeremiah 1:5). Most self-styled prophets are prophets by a gift — "if you can't see, I know you can't see." (His book The Posture — biggest chapter: how to hear God's voice; his wife has also written a book.)
- "Young ministers think the gift grows the church — the church isn't even yours; it's Christ's."

The Bible says in the book of Joel, "On the last days, I will pour out my spirit." I want you to listen to the verbiage upon all flesh, not within all flesh. Don't mistake the spirit upon for the spirit within. Bishop, let me help the people today. Don't be excited with the spirit upon without the spirit within. You are failing in spiritual warfare because you don't understand the source of your strength. This is why those realms are overcoming you is because you are not informed. Yet God has equipped us with every good gift to be able to stand. YOU HAVE THE WHOLE ARMOR of God.
BUT THE WHOLE armor of God is not a declaration. It is information that fortifies you. Just saying let me put I put on the breastplate the breastplate of of of of salva of of righteousness, the belt of truth, uh the helmet of salvation. is not a declaration. This is things you have to explore and understand. John 20 22 I want you to watch this. AND WHEN HE HAD SAID THIS, HE BREATHED ON them and said unto them, "Receive ye the HOLY GHOST." THE APOSTLES DID NOT RECEIVE THE HOLY Spirit on the day of Pentecost.
They received the Holy Spirit the day Jesus breath on them. WHEN JESUS BLEW ON THEM, THE SPIRIT within entered them. I am begging you, listen to me because this video may be deleted. I used to do that. I feel like doing that for this. So if you didn't watch it live, too bad for you. But listen to me. Jesus blew on them
and they received the spirit within. The spirit THAT WAS GOING TO COME UPON THEM
WAS DEPENDED ON THE CAPACITY
TO INCREASE the spirit within. THE REASON WHY THE SPIRIT UPON DOES NOT REMAIN ON PEOPLE is because the spirit WITHIN'S CAPACITY IS WHAT KEEPS the spirit upon on you.

Let me prove it to you. 1st Samuel chapter 10 from verse 6 to13. This is Samuel telling Saul what will happen to him. Saul was a king that was destined to fail. I'm going to say it one more time. Saul was a king destined to fail.
God said they want a king like other nations. I will give them one.
Because a king from God's kingdom is a converted and changed person from within. IS NOT A MAN OR A WOMAN OPERATING from the outside. Is a man or a woman OPERATING FROM WITHIN. WHEN DAVID was looking after sheep, David was already converted from within. When you read Psalms 89, IT SPEAKS OF GOD DECLARING WHAT HE'S SPEAKING OVER DAVID.
He said, "I HAVE FOUND MY SERVANT DAVID. With my own holy oil have I ANOINTED HIM." BEFORE SAMUEL EVER WAS SENT TO GO AND FIND DAVID, David already possessed the spirit within. He already belonged to God before any man ever saw him or knew him. IF YOU LOOK AT ALL THE PROPHETS in scripture, they were mostly born with a spirit within. Samson is about to be born. His mother is being told,
"Don't drink wine. Don't touch anything unclean. FOR THE CHILD WITHIN YOU IS filled with A SPIRIT." HE ALREADY HAS THE spirit within. You see some of your if you read the posture, I speak about this prophets from birth. If you haven't read the posture, actually my wife wrote an amazing book. It's out there too. It's a really beautiful book. You should get one. And my book, the posture is also out there.
But hear me, the reason why I wrote the posture is because I came to realize that many don't even know how to position them for the prophetic. The biggest chapter in that book is how to hear the voice of God. And that is fundamental. That's stage one. But after you read that book and you don't know how to hear God, you have a problem. There's a chapter in there that I speak about prophets from birth. There are people who became prophets later by impartation. But there are prophets that are recognized before they came into this world. You look at Jeremiah. Before you were born, I knew you. I ordained you a prophet to the nations. Why?
Because a prophet cannot speak without the spirit of Yahweh inside of them. Is this making sense to you?
They are born with the spirit within. Most of the people that call themselves prophets became prophets by virtue of a gift.
They are prophets because they can see visions. I see some people bishops and so-called prophets teaching about the prophetic. They can't see anything. Listen, if you can't see, I know you can't see. You can't fake seeing with me. I know those who can see and those who can't. The problem with young ministers is they think the gift is what grows the church.
In fact, the church is not even yours. It belongs to Christ.
