The Barrier Between You and Soul Winning

Summary
In one line: We fail to save souls because of the absence of influence — Jesus wasn't only anointed, He was influential, beyond the four walls of the synagogue.
Key points
- Politicians and powerful people had to watch Him; Pilate feared instability in Judea would cost him with Caesar — accusations that Jesus forbade paying taxes (Luke 23:2) worked only because His influence was so wide.
- Tax collectors, religious leaders and local officials were His friends; "a politician's campaign doesn't get half the crowds Jesus got."

should be and ought to be coming to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Amen.
We are failing to listen. We are failing to save souls
because of the absence of influence.
I'll say that I'll say that one more time. The Lord Jesus wasn't just anointed. He was influential.
Shouting on the mountaintop for people to come to salvation is good. But if there is no influence, the people that you will gather are very few.
Yeah. Jesus had such an influence that not only did the religious people put an eye on him or keep an eye on him, but even politicians,
powerful men and women
needed to keep an eye on him. And even the reason why Pilate Pontius Pilate had to kill him is because he was afraid that if Judea is in trouble, Caesar will get him. In fact, he was far if you know history. He didn't stay in power long after Jesus died. He was actually removed because that region was not stable and Jesus made it even more unstable because now they were creating rumors that he's telling us not to pay taxes. You imagine you're a pastor. You're just preaching Jesus or Jesus is preaching himself.
Sorry.
And they're saying that you're you're you're you're telling people not to pay taxes. He's saying he's king over us over over Caesar. The reason why they could implicate him in that manner is because of one simple thing. His influence had gone beyond the four church four walls of the church. He had very very powerful allies.
Yeah. Amen.
T tax collectors were his friends.
Religious leaders were his friend. Local governments were his friends. Because when he went somewhere, thousands upon thousands upon thousands went to see him. But when a politician is doing a campaign,
they don't get half of what Jesus could get.
