We are going to go into some uh beautiful understanding today on discovering God's mind. Discovering God's mind. Now, I am saying what I'm saying because you cannot know the will of a person unless you know their mind.

We are not saying know just the thoughts, but the mind. You have to understand that there's a difference between the mind of a person and the thoughts of a person. Even though every thought comes from the mind, the mind is different from thoughts. And uh as believers in the Lord Jesus, I find it that most people are struggling to know God's mind and to understand his thoughts.

Yes.

When you understand somebody's mind, then you can understand the way they think. The reason why sometimes we struggle or many times we struggle with God's decisions is because we barely can understand his mind, so how can we understand his thoughts? When you read Philippians chapter 2, you see uh the apostle saying, "Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus."

God wants his mind in you so that you can discover what it is what is in his mind for our own good.

So, there are many who are struggling with decisions right now. Some are on crossroads right now. Some of you want to know who you should marry. Some of you want to know if you should be divorced. Some of you don't know if you should stay in a situation, if you should move away from a situation. There is just so much going on.

And the reality is people are struggling. Hear me. People are struggling to know God's mind. Now, I will tell you this. Prayer was not meant to be the path to knowing God's mind.

I know somebody may not like that, but it's the truth.

I'll say it one more time. Prayer was not what God intended for you to know his mind. God intended that prayer will be a place of communion.

Where you have an exchange with him.

But knowing of his mind was not meant to be through prayer, even though through prayer we can discover God's mind. Because somebody will say, "How can you say that?" No, you could discover God's mind through prayer. But how many times did you pray and know what God is saying? Or God is thinking. Most of us, the measure we use for knowing God's mind is we ask God for something and then we pray, we wait to see if it comes to pass, then we know it was God's will.

We don't even examine the source.

As long as it comes to pass, then it is God communicating and speaking with me. And the reality is if that is the measure, then what how do you know what God wants you to do on a daily basis?

Because the assumption is, "If I can operate in the supernatural, then I know God's mind." And that is not true.

And it's such an unhealthy obsession that so many people are doing the absolute wrong thing in the name of manifesting the power of God.

But, the obsession of a believer should not be in the miraculous, even though the miraculous is important.

The obsession of a believer should not be in the healing, even though healing is important. The obsession of a believer should be to know God.

You should move heaven and earth to know God.

If you don't know God, fall for everything the devil says.

Because most people think reading the scriptures keep me from falling into the traps of the enemy. But the Pharisees read the scriptures and the devil used them to try to kill Jesus.

Yes, you can pick up a few moral things in scripture, but what keeps you is not reading scripture.

It's knowing God. Because the people who walked with God before scriptures, how did they walk with God? You know, the problem is I feel in my own assessment in my own personal assessment, this is how I feel. I'll say it again.

In my personal assessment the Bible that was supposed to make it easier for us to walk with God has become crutches.

It has made us handicap instead of liberating us.

Because the men [snorts] who gave us the scriptures did not have the scriptures.

But they knew God. We have been given the scriptures so that it can be easier for us to walk with God. But the scriptures have become God. And we have ignored the word. The word is a person. The scripture is just the letter. The Bible says the letter killeth, but the spirit gives life.

So now how do we discover God's mind? Because I tell you this, you're struggling with finances because you don't know God's mind.

You're struggling with your family because you don't know God's mind.

You're struggling with your career because you don't know God's mind. You're struggling with where you should be because you don't know God's mind. All your issues, all my issues, stem down to one thing. We don't know God's mind because if we know God's mind, then success becomes guaranteed.

The anointing is not the revelation of God's mind. That's why you can be anointed and broke. You can be anointed and lose your family.

You can be anointed and be under demonic attack. You can be anointed and have struggles back-to-back-to-back, simply because the anointed does not know God's mind. You can be anointed and be rejected of God. I feel like I'm not communicating with somebody.

The young prophet was given direction by God. Go into this city, preach, after that leave the city. The young prophet went and sat outside the city. A prophet came to him and said, "Come and eat with me." He says, "No, the Lord told me not." He said, "But I am also a prophet." So, he gave up God's mind for the mind of a person who said he is also a prophet. Instead of questioning, "If you are a prophet in this city, why isn't God speaking to you that he has to send me.

But he went in and ate with this man. When he came out, the Bible says a lion devoured him. And the old man the old prophet buried him. You see many of you your destinies are being buried. Your futures are being buried because you don't know God's direction. You keep reverting to places that God did not call you to.

So, somebody who prays a lot will not be sought out.

Even people who just cast out demons, which is a great thing, will not be sought out by many people.

Because those who cast out demons think everything is a demon.

Because of the absence of knowing God's mind. This is a question that has become quite common to me. Uh, people have come to me with this question. One of them I would I won't speak about the ones that people come in private that somehow God has granted them access to me. But I've had people come and you've seen it on videos.

Uh, I want to know who killed my child.

I want to know who killed my child. Then I look at them and I say, "You think the man you are with because you broke up, you think the family killed the child. But the reality is he didn't. It is the the in you. Huh? You have a spiritual husband in you. This is what the spirit has done. Then

they say, "Hey!" 2 seconds you see the Harlem shake begins.

Before you know it, "What do you want?"

The suffering of mankind is simple.

The suffering of mankind is simple. My people perish because of lack of knowledge.

Your suffering is not because you don't pray, even though prayer is important.

Remember I told you when you begin to know God's mind, actually probably 80 or 90% of your prayer requests will be eliminated.

Jesus says, "Don't worry about what you're going to eat. Don't worry about what you're going to wear. Your father in heaven knows that you need these things. And he will provide for you these things that you need. Right? Then

you have people who have a whole meeting supernatural provision. God already says he's going to provide for you. That's a useless meeting. God knows your needs.

Supernatural provision is coming. Provision will not be a prayer request if you know God's mind.

Don't worry about what you're going to eat. Don't worry about what you're going to wear. Don't worry about where you will lay your head. This is what the Gentiles worry about. But don't you know your father in heaven already knows that you need these things? Notice it comes back to the mind.

So you sit there and you're you're you're wondering you know whatever God will put I need I need divine provision. I need this. I need this. You Father, you're Jehovah Jireh. You're That was for Moses, not for you.

You are under the covenant of sonship.

You are under sonship.

If you are under sonship, your prayer is completely different from somebody who is not in sonship.

My son doesn't ask me for permission to eat. My children don't ask me that and they don't ask my wife that. They go to the menu.

Not is there food to eat is I want to eat something else.

Can we eat this? Can we eat that? Can we have this? Can we have that? Their question is not is there food? Their question is "What kind of food can we have?" So, they are not worried about being hungry. They are worried about choice of food.

You know, there's this thing going around where people just want to be in the spirit realm and all these things. It makes no sense. Benny, get away. You're blocking the light.

Reading the Bible teaches you about God, but it's not a discovery into his mind.

1 Corinthians chapter 2 from verse 9. We'll take it line by line.

But as it is written,

eye hath not seen,

nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

But God hath revealed them unto us by his spirit.

Notice, God's plans are only revealed by his spirit. God's plans are not revealed because you read the Bible.

God's plans are not revealed because you pray. God's plans are only revealed if you have a strong communion with the Holy Spirit. If you can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. If you can be joined to the Holy Spirit. If you can walk in such a profound intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

Because every time God wants to use somebody, he does not use them independent of the Holy Spirit.

In today's churches, people choose people based on skill.

You are very good at managing money, so we'll make you a financial officer.

You are very good at speaking, so we are going to put you on on on on what is it called? Greeters and all that. You are very you are fair, so we'll put you in in benevolence distribution.

The church is not an organization, even though the church should be run as an organization. But the church, for lack of a better words for lack of a better word, is a spiritual organization.

That's good. That's good.

It's not just an organization. The apostles are told, "The food is not being shared fairly among the people.

We need you guys to step in." The apostles said, "Guys, we are too busy preaching the gospel.

You can't take us out of preaching the gospel to come and distribute food. But here is what we need to do. Gather young men full of the Holy Spirit.

Those people I knew, "Can we go and pray in there?" Yeah, go and pray. People who are barren have had children because they just went to pray in there.

People who wanted their ministry to to start moving, they went in need there, they went and prayed. They would travel up Prof, I'm just coming over to pray. Can I go down there and pray? Yeah, go. Everybody that came, you could go in there and pray at any time.

What was on my altar? First of all, there was a bunch of Bibles. There was holy communion. There was incense.

There was the menorah in there. They took pictures of that, made it look like it was witchcraft. But I let them take pictures, but they took it and posted it like But I haven't changed anything I'm doing. PEOPLE RAN WITH THAT. LOOK.

I am still functioning. I am still useful.

I am still setting people free in the name of the Lord. Nothing has changed. Do you know why? Because the spirit in me is the spirit of the living God. I did not start serving God because of people. You you you understand what I'm saying? No, that's not that's not the reason why I serve God. So, anyone and their opinion is their own. That's their them problem, not a me problem.

Now, think about how many people now became on the fence. I don't know. If it is or if it is not, I I am not sure. Do you know why all those things are there? The absence of God's mind.

The absence of God's mind.

Until now, they are really confused. Why are people going to the church? I possess the mind of Christ.

So, if somebody has a need, they are not coming to look for you. You have nothing to offer them. Except the Bible they have at home. And they have on their phone.

Or the spirit of ChatGPT, which has become why people preach now. Not because they have a divine revelation from God. They think intelligence is revelation.

Information is not revelation. Just because you discover what a word is from Greek to English or Hebrew to [snorts] English doesn't mean it's a revelation. That was always there. If you read the Bible correctly, the meaning is still the same. Or close enough.

You know the funniest thing they were like, you know, saying breathing is saying Yahweh. Ah.

Boy, boy, oh, boy. God help us.

Then oh, then we are all blaspheming because you're breathing every day. So, you're saying God's name in vain. You get what I'm saying? Some things are not just logical. It's trends.

But God hath revealed them unto us by his spirit.

God has revealed them unto us by his spirit, not Greek and Hebrew.

By his spirit.

So, if I have no divine revelation concerning my life, if I have no divine revelation of what God has prepared for me, then how can I position myself? Then I need to question if I am filled with the Holy Spirit or if I am not.

Can you just ask your neighbor this question, are you filled with the Holy Spirit?

That's a genuine question. Listen, people of God, this is a serious, genuine question.

It is a real, serious question.

Because if I don't know God's mind, then what am I preparing for?

God says, "I have a plan for you."

No plans of evil, but of good, to give you a hope and a future. But you're living your life wondering what tomorrow will look like. But God has promised you.

God has promised you that I have thoughts concerning you.

And God is not concealing those thoughts.

So, you are busy you are busy fighting struggling binding demons from your family that don't exist. Everybody has a family altar.

There's a family altar in your family. I remember one time I was with some prophets. And one guy wants to be so prophet and he calls himself prophet. Now, me being a prophet, I know who can prophesy when and who can't. It's easy. Because I can discern them to know their level.

I'm watching the man.

He says, "I I I I I have a word. I have a word." I said, "Uh go ahead." He looks at the most Caucasian woman you can find. Said, "In your family huh

there is a a a demonic altar." Huh? And this demonic altar I see chickens being slaughtered. I see this being slaughtered in your village. The person's like, "Village? I'm from

I'm from Atlanta. I didn't know we have a village."

The man then said a lot of things. I just look at him.

I I sent uh my little brother Chaz a video of a a prophet. These young guys, they just just be mentored, man. He goes to this woman, an older woman. He said, "You, woman, you're quarreling too much with your husband." The woman is shocked, huh? The woman had pictures of her children and things in her hand.

Woman, you're quarreling with your husband too much. You are fighting. The woman was like, "Huh?" You're fighting too much. Huh? Oh oh okay. You can see the woman is confused. He said, "You need to stop fighting, okay? There's a spirit in you." She smacks this woman like it wasn't like Pop the You think the woman now is reacting from the pain. You think it's a demon.

And then you post that online and the world It's just like all this is people either guess guessing God's mind or they have a revelation of God's mind. It's either two. It's one of them. So, the Bible is saying God has revealed this unto us by his spirit.

Amen.

So, the evidence of the Holy Spirit is not tongues, even though tongues is one of them. That is why Paul writes a letter to the to the church of Corinth and he begins by cursing them out with a holy curse. You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you? Do you know what bewitchment does? It alters your mind.

Yeah. He said, "You started in the spirit. How did you end up in the flesh?"

Because the evidence of carrying the spirit of God, the evidence of knowing the mind of God is that the spirit of God liveth in thee.

If the spirit of God does not live in you in his entirety, you will not know his mind.

Paul, who wrote this book, was the first same Paul who was killing people. Jesus appears to him and said, "Saul, Saul, Saul, why are you killing? Why are you persecuting me?" He said, "Lord, what are you talking about?" He said, "When you are doing this to these people, don't you know you're doing it to me?" You see, Saul spending time in prayer until Ananias, the prophet, comes to pray for him.

He's built up. He goes into deep concentration. He goes into deep concentration. When he comes back, when he speaks, you know God is in this man.

Notice that. The spirit of God is supposed to help you search the mind of God.

So, [snorts] the spirit of God does not just automatically reveal the mind of God. You have to learn how to work with the Holy Spirit that you can search out the mind of God. That's why you find scriptures that say the thoughts of God are unsearchable, the depth of them.

As high as the heavens are from the earth, so are my what? My thoughts. So, you have so much to search out to discover the goodness of God.

But that discovery is only done by the spirit of God. If there is an absence of the spirit of God there is an absence of knowing the mind of God.

Right. Keep reading this. Now, it this makes it interesting.

For what man knoweth the things of a man save the spirit of man which is in him?

Stop right there. This now is revealing to you why God has put his spirit in you and in me. Listen to what he's saying. You are conscious of your mind and your thoughts because your spirit lives in you.

So, you know what is going on with you. When people say demons can't read your mind, yes, demons can't read your mind outside of you. But when a demon possesses you, if a spirit is in you, he's able to know your thoughts. Oh, yeah.

Um And this shows you how important it is to guard your mind. There was a young lady that we were counseling and we were praying for. Um and this person is convinced that God does not like them.

You can't cast that out because it's not a spirit. It's a demonic thought planted in her. And I've seen this with men, too.

No amount of come out will do anything.

Are you catching what I'm I'm I'm trying to say?

So, so hear me by the spirit of God.

You know your thoughts because of the spirit that is in you.

But here's an issue now.

There's an issue. Some people don't even know themself.

It means they don't rule over their spirit.

How can you be full of the Holy Spirit and you're not even in control of your own human spirit?

There is a lot of prayer and internal work that we really need to do in the sight of God.

I am telling you this because of one reason.

God wants you to soar high.

Amen.

But you cannot if you don't know his mind.

Amen.

You just can't.

So nobody knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit that is in man.

Then he goes on to say, "Even so, nobody knows the thoughts of God except the spirit of God."

So the purpose of the Holy Spirit was not just to give you power.

That is why you see, even though the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit, when Peter spoke, he began to speak revelations that are so profound that so many believers were added to the faith. He began by saying, "These men you see are not drunk. This is what the prophet Joel said, in the in the last days, the I the Lord will pour out my spirit." And he began to teach them, and before you know it, thousands upon thousands of people were added to the faith.

Notice, it was not just a communication.

It was a release of God's mind.

It was a release of God's mind.

I'm here to tell you this.

You need the mind of Christ.

But I've seen people declare, "I have the mind of Christ." No, it doesn't work like that.

If you will commit yourself to searching out the Lord, seeking him out genuinely, I tell you the truth.

You'll never question where you're going again.

Seek me, and you'll find me, and I will show you things you do not know of.

The evidence of the Holy Spirit.

Remember the the the the man yesterday? He came from LA. I think he was Lebanese. The man said, you know, something came over him and he began to hear an instruction, a voice telling you're going to be this, you're going to be that, you're going to be a great prophet. I will do this. I need you to obey me. Smoke a pack of cigarette a day. Eh?

Big J. Then he turned into drink alcohol. Then he turned into standing the streets. Obey me. Do this. Do that. Do push-ups.

Supposedly, this is God testing him. Then I told him, hey, do you remember when you were a young man? You went to a certain woman who reads fortune. She gave you a cup of coffee to drink. And then she looked under the coffee cup and told you, you're going to go to America. At this age, this and this is going to happen. He said, yes, yes, yes, I remember.

And to prove him that I know what I'm talking about, I told him his sister's name who also participated. He said, man, that is that is true. I said, that spirit that was released on you, it just came back to collect.

I'll tell you again.

How to grow in searching the mind of God because it's it's a deep process, but guess what? It's a process that has to be done.

It's a process that needs to be done. If the process is not done, you remain stuck.

Insanity is doing the same thing hoping for the a different results. Albert Einstein said that.

So, you're still believing to know what God wants you to do, but you've been doing the same thing and nothing is changing and you think you're doing the right thing.

Make it make sense.

Somebody type, "Make it make sense."

Make it make sense.

You make self looting no sense. I'm doing something that is failing. But you see, we mistake faith to mean that you just have to keep trying when something is bad. No, faith keeps you doing something because it is right and it's not the moment if it doesn't work out. But not because the checks and balances don't check out.

Somebody just say, "I'm tired of being tired."

I'm tired of being tired.

You need to be tired of being tired. You need to be tired of being stagnant. You need to be tired of the same same old same old has become the norm in your life. You need to be tired of that.

I want you to grab the best that you have and give to God prayerfully.

If you don't pray, don't give. Prayerfully. Looking to the Lord saying, "Lord, I want intimacy. Let my seed speak for me. I want intimacy. Let my seed speak for me." Why am I telling you this? Because after you come back, we pray. Tomorrow I'll come back with learning the integration of your mind and the mind of the Holy Spirit.

How does that look like? So, I want you to grab your best, go give to God, and then we'll be back.

So, Father, we just come before you this morning. We thank you for the word that you put inside your prophet to share with us. Father, we thank you for the grace that comes attached to that. Lord, as we continue to align ourselves to your spirit, um may we be transformed continually and consistently. Um may we not sell ourselves short, but your word says that he who rules over his spirit is as mighty as a city. So, Father, teach us teach us and lead us to understand our spirit and in turn to know your spirit, your mind, and your thoughts that we can continue to walk in the grace and mercy that you give us daily.

Father, protect your people as they go out about their daily duties. May they just continue to be evangelists for your word as we know the time is near for the Lord to come back.
