God's Transformative Actions Explained

Summary
In one line: God lives in an eternal now — "in the beginning was the Word" (John 1:1) is told from our side of time; God "created all things for His pleasure" (Revelation 4:11).
Key points
- "A problem isn't always suffering" — choosing between steak or fish is a problem too; God created to satisfy something within Himself. "God" is a title that needs someone beneath to look up.
- "The Word was made flesh" (John 1:14) — past tense, because the Word has returned to its glory.
- After a congregant's question: Jesus is "the same yesterday, today and forever" (Hebrews 13:8) — the creation "days" are seasons, not 24 hours (there was no sun yet); time is relative — Dubai, Alaska, Australia's summer at Christmas, the moon.
- "Ancient of Days" (Daniel 7:9) means God precedes days, not that He's an old bearded man — "God looks young."

Amen.
Somebody will say God has no problem. But God create do you know a problem is not always your suffering.
Your problem can be what you want to eat.
Not you don't have anything to eat.
Come on.
I don't know. Should I eat steak or fish?
That's a problem. You are not suffering but you are trying to satisfy something inside of you and you don't know which one to eat.
The Bible says God created everything for his pleasure.
So God wanted to please himself.
So he wanted to solve something within himself. He started creating.
That's why the Bible tells you everything was created by the Lord Jesus. But here now it's interesting because they're trying to show you the first time this side of the veil ever experienced the Lord Jesus. So it tells you in the beginning was
in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.
Now you have to understand even the term God cannot exist unless there is somebody looking at you. Because if God is by himself, he won't call himself God.
Something less than you has to look at you and say
come on
God.
Come on teach.
So all this is in time not before time
laughter
you teaching.
It is showing you the beginning of how God mended everything together. And then he goes on to tell you if you go to verse 14 chapter is it 13 or 14? I believe 14. And the word was made flesh.
That same ma word and the word was. Notice another past tense.
Because now the word is not flesh.
The word has returned unto its own glory.
Come on. Come on. Come on.
Are you Are you following me? I don't know if it's making If it's not making sense, wave your hands. If it's not making sense, it's not making sense. Okay. What part is not making sense? I'll help you. Don't be shy. No, stand up. Actually, stand up. If it's not making sense, I want to help you because if I don't help you, I'm failing.
Uh-huh.
Um, I'm sorry.
No, no, don't be sorry. Go, go for it.
Um, push it out. Don't worry about how it will come out. Just let it come out.
I um I think the I'm so sorry.
No, no, don't be sorry. Go ahead. you're in class.
Um, amen.
It's better to to not You see, there's a saying where I come from that says it's better to be foolish for one second than to be for the rest of your life.
Amen.
That's good.
Um, when you said uh in the beginning was the word and you said was is past tense.
Yes.
And it means and then I I didn't hear that part or maybe I didn't understand that part.
So yeah.
So in the beginning was
Mhm.
You see God is in an eternal now.
Jesus the same yesterday, today and forever.
He's the same. Meaning he has no past tense.
That is why God will never say tomorrow I will bless you. If he mentions tomorrow, he's talking in our time, not his. Because God has never had a yesterday. He has never had a next week.
That is why when we read uh uh how many days God created the earth in, he's not calculating the days in 24-hour days. He's naming it to be a day.
And the word day just means season.
It's not in days like we know it.
For all we know, for our time, it may be a billion years. It may be a trillion years. But to him,
I see
in time it's like a microsecond. But whenever you say like, think about it like this uh uh when I talk to Bishop, Bishop John sometimes he tells me my son in my day.
So I know he's speaking about his youth.
That's good. So if God is saying and this was the first day, he's marking a season.
He's not saying I needed 24 hours. Because when God was name mentioning the first day, there was no sun or moon.
So how was he counting the day? Do you realize right now if you go to Dubai the time difference is already different. So which who's right when we are counting days? If you go to the moon, time is completely different. You go to other planets, the concept of time is because time is relative.
It's good. Yeah. Amen.
Do you get it? So if you look at like the people who are in Alaska when it's summer, it's full day. Then in the winter, it's mostly darkness. So what is the measure of time? Now there's a scientific way that we found a way to make even this uh uh when we push time up or down, we are trying to compensate so that we can be in sync.
But in reality, time is relative. Yeah, makes sense.
Because you see like you guys here have four seasons. Where I come from, there was no four seasons.
We have the rainy season. You don't even know what that is. Rainy season. What are you talking about? We don't have the seasons you guys have. But if you go to Southern Africa, they have the same seasons you have, but at a different time. Australia's summer is not America's summer.
November, December is when it's summer over there. But here, they are celebrating Christmas.
by the beach. We are somewhere covered up because of snow. Do you understand what I'm saying? Time is relative. But the moment God marks something in time, it means it is in the confines of creation. It's not in the confines of eternity because how are we going to mark it? Another name for God is called ancient of days.
Do you know what that means? It doesn't mean God is older. is saying God precedes days.
So when we say he's the ancient of days, before the first day, he had already lived
for eternal days that we can't count.
Amen.
Yes.
Are you getting it? So when you say ancient of days, as old as you are, people who read that, listen to that song, they think God is a very old man. That's why people think God has a big old beard, white hair. No, that is prophetic to show you that seniority.
But the truth is God looks young.
No, he does. He's is not an old. Have you ever read scripture saying God is old?
Did I help you there?
Yes. Thank you.
Are you sure?
Yes.
Clap your hands for Jesus.
Amen.
Amen.
I don't mind questions.
