Summary
In one line: The language of defeat means you've never lived beyond the veil — if all things work for your good (Romans 8:28), even the uncomfortable things are good.
Key insights
- "Everything is so hard" vs. "the Lord is building my endurance." He told Bishop Noel Jones in Milan he's grateful for two years of back-to-back storms — "that is maturity." His heart never questioned God; it was purging.
- Moses at the Red Sea: "The Egyptians you see today you shall see no more" — with no solution yet; God said "stretch out your hand" (Exodus 14:13-16). "Even when your mind is unfruitful, your spirit is fruitful — there's a knowing."
- The natural man can't receive the things of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:14-16). Discernment = God's opinion about a matter — the mind of Christ. Outside the veil you take your opinions from Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and the news.
- David: "Though I walk through the valley… Thou art with me" (Psalm 23:4) — which are you? Joseph and Moses saw beyond the veil and never walked away from it.

We don't talk like regular people. The language of defeat means you've never lived beyond the veil.
It's true.
Everything is just so hard. You have not lived beyond the veil. When things are difficult, the Lord is strengthening me. He's building my endurance.
Amen.
Ah, things are just so hard. I don't even know what to do. You're outside of the veil. Because if everything is working for your good, it means even the uncomfortable things are for your good.
Amen.
Even the most uncomfortable things are good for you. I was having this conversation, I think with Uncle Chaz. I've had this conversation with my little brother. I've had this conversation. I was actually Bishop was in uh somewhere in Milan. Uh Bishop Jones and we are having this conversation and I told him, "You know what, Pops? I am so grateful for the storms that happened 2 years back-to-back.
And to this point, I am so grateful. It has made me so much better." He said, "Now that is maturity."
Amen.
Because when we were going through it, you want to question. But I thank God that my heart never questioned God. I understood it was good for my own purging. My joy was to see what God will do beyond that point.
Amen.
The language of defeat says you never knew him. The language of uncertainty means you never knew him. Look at Moses. Moses is is before the Red Sea and people are complaining and what does Moses say? "The Egyptians you see today, you will see them no more." But he doesn't even have a solution. But something in him just said that. Then when he prayed, God said, "Why are you praying? Just stretch your hand. Tell the children of Israel to march forward." And notice, that is the reaction even when your mind is unfruitful, your spirit is still fruitful.
Amen.
There is a knowing.
Amen.
I don't know how I'm going to come out of this thing, but I know I am coming out.
Amen.
I I know how this is going to end up, but I know I will end up on top.
Amen.
Everything for you has a conclusion that will be divine even though there is no logical explanation of how any of these things will transpire, but you know that you know that you know that you know that you know.
All things will work out for good.
Man of God, please keep reading.
Verse 14. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God.
The natural man receiveth not. Notice, it is impossible. When you live beyond the veil, you can't see that your future is going to be better. You may be hopeful through men, but never hopeful through God. Keep going.
For they are foolishness unto him. Neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned.
If you live outside of the veil, discernment dies. There is no There's no There's no discernment outside of the veil.
veil.
Because the What is discernment? Let me give you a simple understanding of what discernment is. Discernment is God's opinion concerning a matter.
Amen.
I'll say it one more time. Discernment is the ability to know God's opinion when a situation, a person, or something is before you. Discernment is God's mind active within a person. When the Bible says we have the mind of Christ, his consciousness, it is talking about discernment.
But Jesus lived beyond the veil.
You want to have discernment outside of the veil. Yet Jesus our Lord saw everything through the eyes of his father. You don't look at anything outside of what you think, what Facebook says, YouTube says, TikTok said, what the news is saying. You don't have God's opinion in you. The fight you are facing, the battle you are facing, is simply rooted in one thing. You are outside of the veil. If you know how to visit and remain beyond the veil, you will never have a moment where you question God, where are you? David asked, "As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, and I will fear no evil, for thou art with me. Your staff comforts me.
But if you're cool you as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I take a look at my life and realize there's nothing left.
Which one are you?
Even my mama think I'm a
Now, this is very very serious. It's not something light. Those who saw beyond the veil, the Josephs, the Moseses, they never walked away from the veil. Once this, they went beyond it. Don't confuse the move of the spirit within you with living beyond the veil.
